Position Purpose: The HRA RN Supervisor is a Medicare regulatory requirement. The program supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of the HRA Program and staff. This position oversees the activities of the staff to ensure all members who require a Health Risk Assessment, Care Plan, and Care Team meeting receive it within regulatory guidelines. This position reports to the Director of UR. The HRA Program Supervisor interfaces with staff, members, families and physicians as well as Medical Director(s), and other Health Choice personnel as needed. The HRA Program Supervisor is responsible for the HRA staff on a daily basis, including productivity, time cards, and yearly evaluations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and monitor the process for completion of the Initial and Annual Health Risk Assessment, Care Plan, and Care Team Meeting required to remain in compliance with Medicare standards and the Health Choice Model of Care
  • Assigns initial and annual HRA’s, Care Plans, and Care Team Meetings to staff
  • Train new staff and update training materials as needed including retraining current staff
  • Plan and monitor the HRA process and report results to management
  • Audits staff calls and documentation for quality and regulatory requirements
  • Ensures staff’s time cards are completed timely, accurately, and approves them each pay period
  • Completes staff evaluations annually; trains and coaches regularly

Education / Experience / Other Requirements

Education:

  • Arizona Registered Nursing license – current and unrestricted
  • BSN preferred

Years of Experience:

  • At least two (2) years prior HRA, UR, PA or care management experience

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of health plan operations
  • Medicare and Medicaid population, regulations and guidelines
  • Knowledge of Health Risk Assessment process
