The Encounter Supervisor assists in the review and management of all aspects of the Health Choice encounter process. The Encounter Supervisor works closely with the Director of Encounters to establish and monitor strategic direction of the department. Trends findings and communicates to all affected functional areas for continued education and process improvements. Assists in the development and maintenance of training and reference materials utilized within the Reimbursement Services Claims Department. Assists trainers with activities related to claims adjudication. Develops a quality improvement program that will improve processor's knowledge and understanding of adjudication techniques and methodologies.

Bachelors degree strongly preferred
Significant (five or more) years claims processing experience
Prior managed care / Medicaid experience
Three (3) years working with Medicaid claims / encounters and adjustments
