Content Development Manager
The Content Development Manager is responsible for working with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop, maintain, and implement curriculum and content for various departments within the organization. This position will also be responsible for maintaining design standards for all training contents in various delivery methods.
Partners with stakeholders to create standardized curriculum and content for each employee's developmental needs including new hire and ongoing training. This content may be delivered in various formats including written, instructor led, SME led, and online learning. Will continuously update and evolve curriculum and content to cover any knowledge gaps.
Partners with stakeholders to develop structure and processes to ensure that training is available, effective, and of the highest quality. Creates and maintains instructional design standards for internal training content. Works with leadership on other projects as needed. Supports the focus and implementation of the organization's culture and strategic plan in a way that aligns to the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
High School Diploma / GED
Bachelor's degree preferred
Five (5) or more years of relevant experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience editing, designing, and developing training materials / curriculum in various forms including technology enabled learning solutions
Strong project leadership and management skills
Highly organized and motivated with excellent follow-through, multi-tasking, and problem solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience working with subject matter experts and stakeholders
High level of attention to detail
Willingness to learn new skills, work flexibly across the business, and fulfill multiple roles as needed
Ability to communicate clearly with employees at all levels of the organization, and across differing cultural backgrounds
