Community Liaison / Community Outreach Coordinator
The Community Outreach Coordinator conducts outreach to both current and potential members, participates in outreach events, assists the Outreach Supervisor in planning outreach activities, supports member retention programs, establishes and maintains community partnerships, and represents Steward Health Choice in the community.
Supports the Steward Health Choice outreach program to increase membership and improve member retention. Identifies potential outreach opportunities to inform potential members of Steward Health Choice benefits and covered services. Schedule and participate in community events to outreach targeted populations for recruitment and / or retention. Submit weekly summary report of outreach efforts. Coordinates material, staff coverage, and activities for all outreach functions. Informs staff about corporate and community relations and marketing campaigns.
Establish community partnerships and foster existing relationships to generate support for Steward Health Choice outreach initiatives. Maintain professional relationship with community partners. Attend sponsored events. Schedule meetings with and deliver presentations to community partners to share information and maintain a community presence for Steward Health Choice. Build relationships with potential referral sources. Promote the Steward Health Choice brand to targeted communities. Coordinate specific promotional information related to events, meetings, special projects, and activities. Directly engage the community on behalf of Steward Health Choice and its program.
High School Diploma / GED
At least one (1) year outreach, marketing, and / or community relations experience
Knowledge of the local health care community
Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare regulations and guidelines
Computer experience and skills necessary
Effective time management and organizational skills
